Fuckin' Liars - It wasn't fun at all...

A bunch of work's sites hosted over at godaddy got owned this week.
Looks like an old version of wordpress was to blame for all the trouble - well, that and a bunch of web directories with 0777 permissions.

Naturally it's all my fault.
"We want to run our sites on our own - we don't want you in control of our data" they say.
"Sure, here's the FTP credentials - don't call me when you fuck it up"
"Whats an FTP?"

Bleh - Anyways, they did call me when they fucked it up, so I've had to spend the last couple of days removing injected code form all their pages and changing passwords etc.

Good times.

I've got a qhole lot on my plate at work this week. The Boss has got me making ready 3 laptops, 6 PC's and a handfull of blackberry phones, all to be completed by Thursday. This wouldn't be a problem except we have no standard operating environment here, so i have to do everything form scratch, but that's a story for another post.
On the plus side he's bribing me with a shiny new Thermaltake Shock Spin HD headset.

I'm not sure I can get the virtual surround working in arch/linux yet, but even as a stereo headset it's worth working Saturday if i have to.
